Grounded in over two decades of clinical experience, I provide comprehensive and compassionate psychotherapy services across the state of Texas virtually, with limited in-person offerings in Austin.
Contact meEmotional well-being is the flexibility to move in a direction the way nature does, to explore, pursue, create, grow, adapt or simply be. We all know what it feels like to be stuck - in the immobilizing heaviness of grief, a deep longing for something you are afraid to reach for, or the fog and fatigue of depression or illness.
There are many ways and reasons a person might retreat from life, love, creative expression and the pursuit of meaningful goals. Trauma or loss can alter our world so that it becomes smaller, more airless…constricting. It can leave us fearful, avoidant, burnt out or numb.
Therapy can help release these emotional constrictions by fostering a deeper, more compassionate relationship with yourself while cultivating new insight into your responses and the unique experiences that have shaped you.
I work with people who want a more expansive life but sometimes feel powerless to voices inside their heads or the heaviness in their hearts.
Human beings are hardwired to feel the spark of motivation and a sense of belonging and connection. Over the course of therapy, my clients tend to experience increased self confidence and a greater internal sense of security to help them move towards what matters most.
